We had an amazing opportunity to transform a kitchen and three-season porch to support the homeowner’s love of cooking and entertaining.
The newly-remodeled kitchen has seeded glass upper cabinets for display, crackle glaze backsplash tile, a vintage silk-finish granite fit for a granite connoisseur, a new walk-in pantry, a multi-use nook that can be used as a desk or dry bar, a large island perfect for gatherings, new task and decorative lighting, an electric double oven, a gas cooktop, and a stainless steel rangehood. We custom stained their existing flooring to complement their custom cherry island.
The clients wanted to create a better flow for entertaining and a more open feel for their three-season porch. The existing pine-paneled walls and ceilings were whitewashed. New luxury vinyl flooring was installed (it can endure the fluctuation of Minnesota’s temperatures as well as guests fresh from the pool). Much of the wall that opens to the large deck was removed to accommodate large sliding glass doors. A vintage-looking ceiling fan compliments the client’s love of mixing old and new pieces.
